The 100-Day Experiment: Can Thinking Rich Really Create Wealth?
Day 9: Staying the Course—When It Feels Easier to Quit
Yesterday, I reflected on detours and roadblocks. I reminded myself that delays aren’t denials, and setbacks can lead to something better. But today? Today, I felt something different—the pull to just stop. Ugh! Staying the course is hard -er than I thought!
It hit me: This is why so many people give up.
We start with excitement. The goal is clear, the motivation is high, and we’re ready to take on the world. But then the journey gets longer than we thought. Results don’t show up as quickly as we hoped. The initial thrill fades, and the daily steps feel small and ordinary.
That’s when the thought creeps in: “Is this even working?”
I felt that today. I thought, What if this 100-day journey is just a dream? What if nothing changes? What if I end up exactly where I started?
But then I remembered something important—what if the breakthrough is just around the corner?
Wealth, success, or any dream is often built in those exact moments—when we feel like quitting but choose to keep going. The difference between those who succeed and those who don’t isn’t talent or luck; it’s persistence.
I realized that the steps I’m taking now might not show results immediately. But that doesn’t mean they’re not working. Faith is trusting that progress is happening, even when I can’t see it yet.
God works in His perfect timing. Sometimes, what feels like nothing happening is actually preparation. Things are shifting, aligning, and growing—even if I don’t see it.
Just like I can’t plant a seed today and expect fruit tomorrow, I can’t expect immediate results from my mindset shifts or actions. Growth takes time. Wealth takes time. And staying the course, even when I don’t see the finish line, is part of the journey.
I choose progress over perfection. I choose faith over doubt. And I choose to stay the course.
Because what if my breakthrough is just one step away?
📌 Affirmation for Today: “I choose to stay the course. Every small step I take brings me closer to my dreams. I trust God’s timing.”
📌 What I’m Taking Into Tomorrow: I will choose progress over perfection. Even if the steps feel small or slow, I know they are moving me forward.
📌 Reflection: When was the last time I almost gave up—but something amazing happened because I chose to keep going?
