Trusting God, Letting Go, and Believing in His Plan
I’ve learned that life is a journey of trusting, letting go, and allowing God to guide us. There were times when I struggled with understanding how to trust God, but through experience and reflection, I’ve seen how His plan is always better than mine.
In the blog post “How Do We Know God’s Plans in Our Lives?”, I remember facing challenges when I first dreamed of teaching in the U.S. I had my own ideas of what my path should look like, but nothing seemed to go the way I planned. When I finally let go of my expectations and put my trust in God, doors opened that I didn’t even know existed. He led me to roles that not only fulfilled my goals but also aligned with His greater purpose for me.
Letting go hasn’t always been easy. In “All for a Purpose”, I applied for a gifted teacher position, thinking it was the perfect fit. But God placed me somewhere different. At first, I was confused and even frustrated. Why wasn’t I where I thought I should be? But over time, I realized that this unexpected path was shaping me in ways I hadn’t anticipated. Learning how to trust God means believing that His plan is for my good, even when it doesn’t make sense in the moment.
Cultivating the Right Mindset
Another lesson I’ve learned is that our mindset is everything. In “Focus is Key!”, I discovered that staying positive and focusing on God’s promises helped me through difficult times. Instead of dwelling on what went wrong, I chose to believe that God was working things out for me. This shift in mindset has been crucial in helping me persevere.
If you’re wondering how to trust God more fully, I’ve found these three things to be powerful:
- Prayer – Talking to God about my worries and dreams helps me let go of fear.
- Gratitude – In “Give Thanks and Trust God”, I learned that being thankful for what I have helps me see God’s hand in my life.
- Patience – Trusting God means waiting for His timing, not rushing ahead with my own plans. Remember, slowly but surely mantra!
In “Set Goals and Pray”, I realized that setting goals is important, but it’s even more important to bring those goals to God. I used to think I had to do everything by myself, but now I know that true success comes from aligning my goals with His will.
Persevering in Faith
I’ve also learned to keep going, even when things are tough. In “4 Steps to Make Our Dreams Come True”, I was reminded that visualization, belief, and gratitude are key. I started to picture my dreams coming true, believing that with God, all things are possible. This helped me stay motivated and hopeful.
Even when progress is slow, I remind myself of the lesson from “Slowly but Surely”. God’s timing is perfect, and just because things aren’t happening right away doesn’t mean they aren’t happening. Learning how to trust God means believing that He is always at work, even when we can’t see it.
Letting Go and Letting God
Finally, in “Let Go and Let God”, I realized the peace that comes with surrender. When I let go of control and allowed God to lead, I found clarity and joy. Trusting God means knowing He holds the future and that His plans are for my good.
✨ Slowly but surely, as we walk this journey of faith, we are being prepared for something greater. One day, in God’s perfect time, we will meet Him face to face. Imagine that beautiful moment when He welcomes us with open arms, joyfully saying, “Well done, my child!” As He hugs us tightly, we’ll know that every challenge, every act of faith, and every moment of perseverance was worth it.
Until then, let’s trust, let go, and believe — knowing that God is in control. 💫
truly slowly but surely goona reach my goal by God’s grace and mercy
Amen!
